I filled the barrel with broken and left over bricks and tools. I then proceeded to the ground and cast off the line. The barrel weighed more than I did and I was jerked off the ground. I elected to hang on. Half way up the side of the building I met the barrel coming down and received severe injuries to my head and shoulders. When I reached the top, my fingers became jammed between the rope and pulley resulting in severe lacerations.

The barrel struck the ground with great force and broke the bottom of the barrel spilling the contents there-of all over the street. I now weighed more then the barrel and proceeded down at great speed.

Half way down I met the barrel coming up, receiving a severe blow to my shins and legs. I landed on the street with great force, injuring myself on the broken bricks and tools.

It was at this point I must have lost my presence of mind and let go the line. The barrel proceed down at great speed, hitting me on my yet uninjured shoulder.
